Omi Japan accompanies the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Japan as a member of the VADX Association
From March 26 to 28, Omi Japan (a subsidiary of OmiGroup) was honored to accompany the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Japan and the Consul General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Fukuoka on a working visit to four prefectures: Miyazaki, Oita, Kumamoto, and Saga. The mission aimed to bolster economic and technological cooperation between Vietnam and the Kyushu region, while promoting the role of the VADX Association—an organization representing 31 Vietnamese IT enterprises in Japan.

Within the framework of the visit, the Ambassador held working sessions with local governments to expand cooperation in various fields, including agricultural exports, livestock, semiconductor manufacturing, and the application of AI and IoT in smart city development. With its strengths in digital transformation, IT human resources, and business networking, the VADX Association is committed to supporting Japanese partners in their technological innovation processes. Omi Japan, in its role as Vice President of Supervision, will continue to play a pivotal role in the Association's activities and support its sustainable growth.
The visit concluded successfully, receiving a warm and solemn reception from the local provincial governments. This also marked the Ambassador’s first visit to the region, where he demonstrated a particular interest in fostering cooperation between Vietnam and Kyushu. Beyond opening numerous economic opportunities, the mission significantly contributed to strengthening the enduring friendship and partnership between Vietnam and Japan.
